The new mantra: Death, Taxes and Advertisments

Many people are probably familiar with the old quote by Benjamin Franklin:
"In this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes."
But I think it should be given a modern makeover:
"Nothing in this world is certain except death, taxes and advertisements."
I think its a bit ridiculous when you pay for a service and they still shove ads into your face, even if its related to other things that I like, have been searching for, etc. Case in point: using your cable box's guide functionality and the ads displayed somewhere on the guide. I don't think its too much to ask to not have ads for services I pay for. I don't mind if there are ads on things that are provided gratis (and by free, I mean not a penny of my monthly service fee goes to it), but if I pay every month for access to something, it stands to reason that I am really not the focus of your service - your pocketbook is, and its not making me like your service any more.
