In case you haven't heard yet, the PlayStation Network (PSN) has been down for the last few days, and it was revealed that the reason for the outage was due to a security breach that may have compromised users' accounts, and are, at this time, unsure of whether or not credit card accounts have been included in the breach. After what I've said about co-operative play with non-Xbox Live members, at this point I'm glad that I have Xbox Live over PSN. But I'm not going to count my blessings just yet - being a member of any paying service, gaming or otherwise, I still am at risk and this incident just amplifies the adage that you should be vigilant on the Internet and change passwords often, keep them different across multiple services, and always be checking your bank and credit card accounts.
