It always seems like I never have enough time to sit down here and talk about what's been going on in my life, but that seems to be the prevailing trend among young adults like myself - work ourselves into exhaustion.
Well, the last couple weeks have been pretty busy with work, school, and my new Twobile project (part of the Infinitum Software Group that I started up), but this past weekend definitely took the cake. My brother turned 16 this past Friday, and so I took a couple hours off early to celebrate his birthday with him, and my family, my fiancee, my grandparents, and his friend Eric all went to Chili's for dinner to celebrate. It was a nice gathering, with plenty of smiles to go around. Unfortunately, because dinner ran a little later than we expected, we weren't able to go see "The Forbidden Kingdom" in the theater (since it came out that day) because, by the time we got there, there was ten minutes till the movie started and the mall was packed and the lines to get tickets were insanely long!
Then, on Saturday, my fiancee's sister's kids jointly celebrated their 1st and 4th birthdays, so I attended that and helped out with the BBQ. At about 6pm, my fiancee and I left the party to meet with my brother and his friends to see "The Forbidden Kingdom" and watched that until a little past 9pm, at which point we went to my house and dropped my brother off and had some of his birthday cake.
On Sunday, I slept in until about 11 and then began to work on Twobile and my school homework. After scarfing down my dinner at about 4:45, I hastily left for Church to attend a catechism meeting with my brother (since I'm his Confirmation sponsor) and stayed until 9:30.
Needless to say, I am pretty exhausted today and asked the question when I woke up "Is it Friday yet?"
Sorry if this post doesn't quite make sense or is a bunch of fragments; I'm writing it while I'm in class, so I don't have my fullest attention to writing. Multitasking - the requirement of any college student, but unfortunately, their downfall as well.
